To our friends across Homewood Health,
Last year, you helped us to achieve our most successful Holiday Giving Campaign to date. In the face of a global health emergency, you went above and beyond to provide exemplary care for your patients and clients at Homewood Health. But you also demonstrated your strong commitment to continuous improvement by supporting HRI and the Homewood Volunteer Association in our efforts to make treatment and recovery better for people living with mental illness and addiction.
About Our Charities
HRI (Homewood Research Institute) is a charity founded by Homewood Health, which is why we proudly share the Homewood name. We work on a national level, leading collaborative research with experts to advance a common goal: improving treatment to save lives. Our findings can be applied quickly to transform and build treatment approaches for greater impact.
The Homewood Volunteer Association (HVA) works within Homewood Health Centre, providing charitable funding to the Centre, its patients and the community. They raise funds through the cafe and gift shop and use those funds to support services like the patient library and the fitness centre. They also provide supplies to various therapies, including horticultural therapy, music therapy and creative arts therapy.
From now through December 31st, we are fundraising to support projects at both of our charities that are helping our friends, colleagues and loved ones experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. We hope you will consider supporting our work.
