Becky holds an Honours Degree in English, with a specialty in Rhetoric and Professional Writing, from the University of Waterloo. Having worked for 11 years as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Homewood Health Centre prior to joining the HRI team, Becky brings a great deal of expertise in healthcare communications to HRI.

In her role at HRI, Becky coordinates external communications and content development. She oversees branding and the creation and implementation of strategic messaging for a range of audiences and stakeholders. In collaboration with key partners, including affiliated scientists, researchers and institutions, she works to communicate the importance and impact of HRI’s research in addressing mental illness and addiction in Canada.
