Yao Li is a PhD candidate in the biostatistics program in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She began working with HRI as a data analyst in 2018. Currently, as a research trainee, Yao is working on treatment effect evaluation using causal inference methods for a longitudinal cohort study from the Recovery Journey Project. She was also trained in longitudinal data analysis and epidemiological studies while working at the Ontario Institute of Cancer Research. Yao’s research interests include causal inference and statistical genetics.
