Using technology to better understand PTSD
This study uses computer technology, including machine learning algorithms, to explore patterns in data from civilians, public safety personnel, military members, and veterans with PTSD. Advanced computer models are being used to analyze data from people who have received treatment for PTSD to identify common features among specific demographic groups, data patterns suggestive of new subtypes of PTSD, and factors that hold promise to improve treatment and recovery.
This research will reveal clues about new subtypes of PTSD and will drive progress in developing more personalized approaches to treatment.
